JOB PURPOSE: 

Establishment of the Quality Management System (QMS) in Shorobor 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordination with World Food Program Food Security Quality and monitoring team on behalf of Shorobor

Represent Shorobor during quality inspections by WFP / Regulatory agencies / Certification bodies.

Provide QA support in all QMS functions as necessary

Development of quality system policy , procedures, instructions

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development and Document control processes

Plan and establish Corrective and preventive action processes

Carry out calibration processes

Analysis of product to aid in continual improvement initiatives

Development of product acceptance criteria

Purchasing controls and perform supplier evaluation i.e Quality Assurance at upstream and downstream

Establish Quality Checking at the offloading and loading points

Maintenance and preservation of Quality, Design and Device records

Sorting processes and controls (Temperature and hygiene method)

Evaluate impact on risk management

Manages the training for internal staff on Quality issues

REQUIREMENTS:

Academic Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Food Chemistry / Food Biochemistry/Food Technology/Food Science /Food Microbiology

Work Experience

At least 1 years’ experience in relevant industries

Training

QMS and/or FSQ is preferred
